About Us

  • We are a family of 5, with a generally normal existence, (A family of 5 is anything but normal).  This would include work, play, school, soccer, bike riding, cheerleading, hockey, track, camping, and all of the other family activities......
  • But for real fun, we like to race.  Motocross in the summer, and Snocross in the winter.  Our current bikes are Honda's, and our current sleds are Ski-Doo.
  • We primarily race Vermont Motocross Association in the summer, and Rock Maple Racing in the winter.

History

  • I, (Mark) have been a little competitive since as long as I can remember. Racing bicycles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, whatever I had.  I have apparently passed a little of this on to Brennan.
  • He got his first Kitty-Kat at age 2 1/2, and began terrorizing the neighborhood immediately. Before he turned 3 he had hit the house twice and the car once.  I remember, "faster Daddy, go faster Daddy!".  We raced a bit when he turned 4, and won our share of grass drags and snocross races.  When the class moved to 120's, we moved onto hockey.
  • Brennan enjoyed this from age 6 till age 12, when he retired and wanted to go back to snocross.  We bought a 2002 Z440 for the second half of the 2003/2004 season.  We raced 5 times, he got 2 firsts, 1 second, 1 forth and 1 fifth place.
  • For 2004/2005, we got a 2005 MXZ380F and a 2005 MXZ550F.  Superior machines in every way.  We were running well until we was landed on by a rookie racer, which left him with a broken hand and a broken finger.
  • In the last Haystack race of 2005, Brennan swept everything, 6 races, 6 first places.
  • In 2005/2006, he had a 380, 550 and a 440 Ski-Doo for the second half of the season.  He won 2 Championships!
  • For 2006/2007, the idea was to run 14-15 and 16-17.  He wanted more of a challenge, so we ran RMR sport for the season.  He ended up first place Champion in Sport 500 and Sport 600!
  • 2007/2008 at 15, Brennan ran full Semi-Pro 600 and Open classes!  So far we have made every final but 1, and finished top 5 4 times.

Future Plans

  • Plans are open as of now.
  • Racing is for fun, but if Brennan wants to go to the Winter X games, or move onto the AMA National's, that's where we will go,( We really would like all the kid's to go to medical school and fund our retirement)
